1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of JustChat, including anonymous chat, account and friend features, virtual Gems, digital gifts, reward or monetization features, and related services. By accessing or using JustChat, you agree to these Terms and to any additional rules shown for a particular feature.
If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and must meet any minimum age or eligibility requirement displayed by JustChat or required by applicable law.
2. About JustChat
JustChat is a social communication platform that can connect users for anonymous or pseudonymous conversations. Users may choose to become friends through the platform. After a friend request is accepted, additional profile details or features may become available depending on each user's settings and the current product design.
JustChat may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, technical, or business reasons.
3. Accounts, Profiles and Friend Features
- You are responsible for information you choose to provide and for maintaining the security of your account or session.
- Do not impersonate another person, create deceptive profiles, or attempt to access another user's account.
- Friend requests and profile visibility are voluntary. Becoming friends does not create any employment, agency, partnership, or financial relationship between users.
- You should not share passwords, OTPs, financial credentials, or sensitive personal information in chat.
4. User Conduct
You may not use JustChat to harass, threaten, exploit, defraud, stalk, spam, distribute malware, solicit unlawful activity, violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights, or engage in conduct prohibited by applicable law. You may not manipulate gifting or reward systems through fake accounts, self-dealing, collusion, automated activity, chargeback abuse, or other fraudulent methods.
5. Gems and Virtual Gifts
- Users may purchase Gems at prices displayed at checkout.
- Gems may be used only for eligible JustChat features and digital items, including virtual gifts such as roses, rings, cars, watches, crowns, or other items shown in the gift catalogue.
- Purchased Gems cannot be withdrawn for cash and cannot be directly transferred to another user's Gem balance.
- A user may spend Gems to purchase and send a virtual gift. Once a valid gift is sent, the applicable Gems are consumed.
- Virtual gifts are digital expressions of appreciation and do not represent ownership of the real-world item depicted.
- Gem prices, bonus amounts, gift prices, availability, and promotional offers may change from time to time. Changes do not alter Gems already validly credited except where necessary to address fraud, error, expiry disclosed at purchase, or legal requirements.
6. Recipient Rewards and Monetization
Where JustChat offers a reward or monetization program, an eligible recipient of a virtual gift may receive a separate reward balance or earning credit determined under the program rules. The recipient does not receive the sender's Gems.
- Reward balances may not be transferable between users.
- Cash redemption is available only where JustChat has activated the feature and the user satisfies all eligibility requirements.
- Before any payout, JustChat may require identity/KYC verification, PAN or tax information where applicable, age verification, bank-account verification, acceptance of a monetization or partnership agreement, fraud review, and satisfaction of a minimum payout threshold.
- JustChat may withhold, reverse, or investigate rewards reasonably suspected to arise from fraud, prohibited conduct, chargebacks, technical errors, self-gifting, collusion, or violation of program rules.
- Any taxes or reporting obligations associated with creator/user earnings are the responsibility of the recipient except to the extent JustChat is required by law to deduct or report them.
Reward conversion rates, platform share, payout thresholds, and payout timing will be displayed in the applicable monetization terms before a user participates.
7. Payments
Payments for Gems or other paid digital services may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Razorpay or other providers made available at checkout. You authorize the payment provider and JustChat to process the transaction information necessary to complete your purchase.
You are responsible for ensuring that the payment method is authorized and that purchase details are correct before confirming payment. Taxes, fees, or other charges will be shown where applicable.
8. Refunds and Failed Transactions
Successfully purchased and credited Gems and successfully delivered digital gifts are generally non-refundable because they are digital items made available for immediate use. The detailed rules are stated in our Return & Refund Policy.
If money is debited but a transaction fails and the purchased Gems or service is not credited, JustChat will verify the payment status and initiate the applicable refund/reversal within up to 7 days after verification. The time for the amount to appear in your account may depend on the bank, card network, UPI provider, or payment processor.
9. Safety, Reports and Moderation
JustChat may provide blocking, reporting, rate limits, anti-spam measures, fraud controls, and other safety systems. We may investigate reported accounts and take proportionate action, including restrictions or suspension. Safety tools do not guarantee that every harmful interaction will be prevented. Users should exercise judgment when interacting with strangers.
10. Intellectual Property
The JustChat name, branding, interface, software, graphics, gift designs, and other platform content are owned by or licensed to JustChat unless otherwise stated. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, scrape, or commercially exploit the platform except as permitted by law or with written authorization.
11. Suspension and Termination
JustChat may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, comply with law or payment-provider requirements, address security risks, or enforce these Terms. Where practical and lawful, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.
12. Service Disclaimers
JustChat provides a platform for users to communicate; we do not guarantee the identity, intentions, statements, conduct, or compatibility of another user. The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, network failures, third-party services, security events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JustChat will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from user conduct, voluntary disclosure of information, third-party services, or interruptions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the service, payment or reward features, security practices, legal requirements, or business operations. The updated effective date will be shown on this page. Where a change materially affects your rights, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or jurisdiction that applies to you. The parties should first attempt to resolve a dispute through good-faith communication before pursuing other remedies available under applicable law.
